Jim Sudlow

Elder

Tell us about your family and work:  Nancy and I fell in love at Wheaton College and have been married since 1976.   The Lord has blessed us with 3 children who are now grown and married.  We have 6 grandchildren – what joy! I am now retired from Cintas after working 15 years in the business, and 20 in the IT Department.  I feel so privileged to be able to spend more time ministering to and supporting others.

When did you become an Elder? We joined Hope in May of 2014 and I joined the Elder Board in April of 2017.

Tell us about your passion for ministry: I have a passion for digging deep into God’s Word to know Him better, and to walk with Him daily.  At Hope, we have found a place where relationships can be more than surface deep, where teaching is grounded in Scripture and taught with humility and grace. I am excited about Hope’s focus to develop disciples and help them to multiply.
