Our Programs

With small class sizes and learning tailored to your child's age, we offer great options for children ages 30 months through 5 years.

Stepping Stones - 2 1/2 years

Tiny Turtles: Class Ratio: 10:2
This class was created to nurture our youngest students as they begin their preschool journey. We will come alongside parents to assist with their child’s social/emotional/spiritual growth that will be the main focus for this first year of preschool. Children must be 30 months old by September 1st of the attending year to participate in this class. Children do not need to be fully potty trained to attend this class.

2 Days:
Schedule: Mon/Wed OR Tues/Thurs 9:00am-12:00pm
Cost: $200/month

Building Blocks - 3 years

Bears and Elephants: Class ratios: 12:2
Because this will be the first preschool experience for many children in these classes, we will continue to keep our focus on the social/emotional/spiritual aspect. Once children begin to adjust to their classroom enviroment, teachers can begin to introduce basic concepts found within our guidelines for the Early Learning and Development Standards of this age group. Children must be potty trained for these classes.

2 Days:
Schedule: Tues/Thurs 9:00am-12:00pm
Cost: $200/month

3 days:
Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri 9:00am-12:00pm
Cost: $230/month

4 days:
Schedule: Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs 9:00am-12:00pm
Cost: $275/month

Transitions - Pre-K-4 years

Frogs, Butterflies, and Giraffes: Class ratios: 14:2
Our 4 year old program is our preK course, preparing them for kindergarten. In these classes, children discover math, science, social studies, and, language & literacy concepts through active participation in a hands-on environment. The children will also continue to refine their social/emotional development to increase their independence, and reinforce critical listening and participation skills that are necessary for Kindergarten readiness.

2 days:
Schedule: Tues/Thurs 9:00am-1:00pm
Cost: $200/month

3 days:
Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri 9:00am-12:00pm
Cost: $230/month

4 days:
Schedule: Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs 9:00am-12:00pm
Cost: $275/month

Connections - 5 years

Penguins: Class ratio: 12:2
This class is specifically designed for children who either do not meet the age requirement for Kindergarten, or who may need an extra year to further develop their social/emotional, and perhaps, even their cognitive skills before entering Kindergarten. Children attending this class have completed a year in the transitions class (or a preK course). The curriculum for Connections is a continuum from the transitions class to offer these children further preparation before entrance into kindergarten. Children must have completed a preK class proir to entrance in the connections class.

4 days:
Schedule: Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs 9:00am-12:00pm
Cost: $275/month

Enrichment Day - 4 & 5 years (add on)

Enrichment Day is designed to be an additional program to add to your 2 day or 4 day program. If you desire for your child to have more time with Little Schoolhouse staff then this program is the perfect solution for you.  Enrichment Day will give children a chance to dive deep into focus areas that interest the group. This STEM class allows children to dive deep into learning in fun and creative ways to encourage their thinking, reasoning, and knowledge bases.

1 day:
Schedule: 9:00am-12:00pm
Cost: $100/month

Our team of experienced educators is committed to creating a nurturing Christian environment where children feel safe to explore, investigate, and engage.

FAQ

Our preschool is licensed for children ages 30 months – 5-year-olds.

Children do not need to be potty trained to attend our Stepping Stones program (ages 30 month – young 3-year-olds).

Children must be fully potty trained (no diapers or pull-ups) for Building Blocks, Transitions, & Connections programs (ages 3-year-olds – 5-year olds).

No transportation is offered.

No, Little Schoolhouse is a part-time morning preschool, and does not offer any before or after school programs.

Lead teachers hold a college degree or early childhood development certificate.

All staff receive 25 hours of ongoing early childhood professional development bi-annually.

Yes! Tours are available Tues, Wed, Thurs between 9:30-11:30am. However, we can be flexible if this does not fit your schedule. Appointments are highly recommended to ensure we are available.
