One of the things I love about God is that He desires not only to save us but to change us, to make us more like His Son, Jesus (Romans 8:29). And so He gives us His Word, the Scriptures, to teach us who He is and how He calls us to live; He gives us His Holy Spirit to live within us to help us understand and live according to His Word; and He gives us His people to encourage us, to teach us, to pray with and for us, calling us to do the same for them. As Pastor for Adult Discipleship, I oversee ministries like our Campus and Home Community Groups, Men’s and Women’s Ministries and Prayer Ministry, ministries that exist to bring people together in authentic community so that we might link arms and walk together into a life of greater faithfulness to Jesus, for our joy and His glory!
